Flexible commercial flooring
Create a durable, professional workplace floor with modular carpet tiles planned for traffic, access and future maintenance.
QUICK ANSWER
Carpet tiles can provide practical modular replacement, design flexibility and access advantages in suitable offices and commercial interiors. Performance depends on substrate preparation, adhesive, layout, traffic and product specification, so the site is assessed before installation.
Service information reviewed 15 July 2026. Final suitability, programme and price are confirmed for the individual site.
Site-specific service
Carpet tiles allow worn or damaged modules to be replaced without relaying an entire floor. A successful installation still depends on a dry, clean and smooth substrate, the right adhesive system, accurate set-out and neat finishing at edges and transitions.

Our process
Measure the site and review traffic, furniture, access, moisture and programme constraints.
Confirm product, tile direction, set-out, borders, transitions and installation staging.
Remove agreed finishes and prepare the substrate for the specified adhesive system.
Lay to the approved pattern, detail edges, clean the work area and inspect the finish.
Questions answered
Tiles make local replacement and access changes easier, which can suit busy commercial spaces. Product selection still depends on traffic, acoustics, design and budget.
Staged installation may be possible, but moving furniture adds time and coordination. We confirm responsibilities and the work sequence before quoting.
Usually, provided compatible spare tiles are retained and dye-lot variation is considered. We recommend keeping attic stock from the original installation.
It may be available depending on crew and building access. Tell us your operating hours and site restrictions during the initial survey.
Designed for working interiors
Carpet tiles are a practical flooring choice for offices, retail areas, conference rooms, executive suites, hotels, education facilities, healthcare spaces and other busy interiors. Individual tiles can be replaced after a spill, localised wear or an office move without relaying an entire room. Modular products also make it easier to plan borders, directional patterns, colour zoning and access around some raised-floor systems.
They can soften footfall and room noise, provide comfort underfoot and offer durable finishes for high-traffic areas when the product is correctly selected. Our range includes colours, textures and patterns that can support a neutral interior or reinforce brand and wayfinding. Durability, backing, pile construction, castor-chair use, fire classification and maintenance requirements should be checked alongside appearance.
Quarter-turn, monolithic, ashlar and non-directional layouts create different effects. We confirm the manufacturer’s permitted pattern, establish set-out lines and plan cuts so borders are balanced and the installation reads cleanly through doorways and open areas.
Concrete or sheet substrates must be sound, dry, smooth and clean. Old adhesive, paint, laitance, hollows and high spots can compromise appearance or bond. Preparation may include uplift, grinding, patching, smoothing and an approved tackifier or adhesive.
Access, furniture, noisy preparation, adhesive cure and staged handover are planned around the operation where practical. Out-of-hours work may be possible by agreement, but cure times and safe access are never shortened simply to meet an unrealistic reopening time.
A meticulous installation
Regular vacuuming with suitable commercial equipment removes abrasive soil before it damages the pile. Attend to spills promptly using the manufacturer’s method and schedule periodic professional cleaning for the traffic level. Keep spare tiles from the same batch flat, dry and identified; replacement tiles may initially look brighter than surrounding material until normal use equalises the appearance.
Price depends on product, area, wastage and pattern, uplift, subfloor preparation, moisture work, furniture movement, stairs, trims, access, working hours and programme. A site visit lets us provide a customised quote rather than an unrealistically simple square-metre promise.
